In my May 2023 blog (found here), I introduced you to KITT, one of the first AI platforms that enabled live audio conversations with ChatGPT. At the time, I emphasized the importance of new ways to access dashboard data, investing in and training an internal foresight future(s) action team, regardless of your industry or sector.

Now, just a year later, the landscape has evolved dramatically, and those who heeded my advice are clearly well-positioned to capitalize on the AI revolution.

KITT has undergone a significant upgrade, now known as LIVEKITT. This enhanced platform not only understands and responds to audible requests but also incorporates visual input. Users can simply show data to a camera, eliminating the need for manual or audible input.

Additionally, LIVEKITT's WebRTC program allows users to live-stream themselves off animated designs created on Canvas, with their actions simulated 1:1 in real-time. The platform's advanced voice-to-text software enables users to code complex programs using only their voice, further streamlining the development process.

The Advent of AIPCs

Microsoft has recently announced a groundbreaking development in the world of personal computing: the AIPC. These new computers feature advanced chips designed to run AI features in Windows without compromising battery life. The Surface Laptop and Surface Pro tablet, powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon X Elite and X Plus processors, can run AI tasks without an internet connection, promising longer battery life and native support for Microsoft's Copilot AI chatbot.

Key Features of AIPCs

1. Translate audio

2. Recommend responses to incoming messages

3. Suggest changes in the Settings app

4. Engage in conversations about on-screen content

5. Recall feature for searching through previous actions on PCs (offline)

6. Generate images based on written descriptions and drawings

In a recent interview, Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon shared insights on the fundamental shift in PCs and future Industry 4.0 products. He emphasized that the advent of AIPCs is as significant as the Windows 95 transition, with every pixel on the screen being indexed for easy access and interaction. Amon also highlighted the importance of battery life, noting that AIPCs running on Snapdragon Elite platforms can deliver a full day of use, even with the AI features constantly running.

The rapid advancements in AI and computing, as evidenced by the rise of LIVEKITT and AIPCs, underscore the importance of staying informed and adaptable in the face of technological change.

I am excited by the potential these developments hold for transforming the way we interact with technology and streamlining our daily lives.

By embracing these innovations and continuing to invest in foresight and strategic planning, businesses and individuals alike can position themselves for success in the AI-driven future.

Be well and happy,
